Hello Piranhas!!

My name is Reid Owen, and I'm the head site coach for the Potomac Marlins at Cub Run Rec Center in Chantilly. The Marlins and the Piranhas share a TON of swimmers, and I really appreciate Coach Kevin letting me come work with you all each summer. I love getting to see my year-round swimmers engaged with their community teams!

I'm thrilled to announce that the Marlins are going to host an extended clinic for the Piranhas this season. From Monday June 29th through Thursday July 2nd, I'm going to be at Pinecrest from 1:00pm-2:00pm. Over the course of the four days we will cover every stroke, start, and turn, and the focus will be on minimizing drag while increasing power. Your swimmers will walk away from the clinic smarter, stronger, and ready for their next race.

This clinic is designed for swimmers legal in all four strokes, and we'll split swimmers by their skill level. I plan to have at least one assistant coach and one athlete assistant in the water, and we'll bring more if enough Piranhas register.
