NVSL Meet #5 Pinecrest @ Hamlet

Congratulations to our A Meet swimmers! Saturday July 18th we are traveling to Hamlet for our last A meet of the season. Please note the early start at 8:30am. Let’s bring all of our spirit and get ready to race!
Meet details:
When: Saturday July 18th
Where: Hamlet Swim and Tennis Club, 8209 Dunsinaine Court, McLean, VA, 22102
What to bring: team suit, goggles, towels, sunscreen, water (a lot of it), snacks, money for concessions.
Timeline:

| 7:30 am | All Swimmers arrive (meet in parking lot to walk in as a team) and marshals on deck for warm-ups |
| 7:30 – 7:50 am | Hamlet warm-up |
| 7:55 – 8:15 am | Pinecrest warm-up |
| 8 am | Officials briefing with the Referee |
| 8:05 am | All Timers report to the Chief Timer |
| 8:25 am | All Deck Officials and Timers report to their positions |

Notes from Hamlet:
** Marshals should arrive at 7:25 am so we can begin Hamlet warm-ups at 7:30 am. *** We kindly request that all your officials be at the pool no later than 7:50 am in advance of the 8 am Referee briefing. |
- Please have your swimmers bring chairs if they would like to sit during the meet - Hamlet typically keeps the grass open and do not have lawn chairs out.
- When heading to the clerk of course area, the visiting team swimmers will walk along the patio area, behind the pool, and over to the diving well area. This way, they do not walk in front of the starters, officials or timers.
- No noisemakers (trumpets, drums, cymbals, horns, etc.) are allowed at our pool. This is in consideration of our residential neighbors and is part of our operating license.
Food - Hamlet has a full-service snack-bar which will be open during the meet. Credit Cards are accepted.

Directions to Hamlet
From Pinecrest, take 267 East to the Spring Hill Rd exit. Turn Left onto Spring Hill Rd, and then turn Right on Lewinsville Rd after approximately .4 mi. After passing Spring Hill Elementary, turn Right onto FALSTAFF RD., then the second RIGHT on BIRNAM WOOD DR, go .2 mi and turn right onto DUNSINANE CT., go .1 mi and end at Hamlet Swim Club.
- Our club's parking lot is reserved exclusively for visiting team families. In order to allow safe access to and from our pool through the narrow neighborhood roads, parking on the right side of the road leading to the pool is prohibited (Dunsinane Court). We will designate that side of the road with orange cones. A parking map is attached to share with your families. It is a very short walk from Spring Hill Elementary, so that is a great option too.
